We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing electrical projects within the construction industry, particularly in the areas of electric fit-outs and commercial tenant improvements. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, with a team of dedicated professionals committed to delivering high-quality results for our clients.
Responsibilities
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of electrical projects from conception to completion. Your duties will include
- Overseeing the planning and execution of electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
- Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to develop detailed project plans.
- Managing the procurement of materials and equipment, and ensuring their timely delivery to project sites.
- Supervising on-site operations, including the work of electricians and other contractors.
- Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality of work.
- Resolving any project-related issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
- Preparing regular progress reports and presenting them to senior management and clients.
- Ensuring all project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Implementing risk management procedures to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
To be considered for the role of Electrical Project Manager, you should have
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing electrical projects in the construction industry, with a focus on electric fit-outs and commercial tenant improvements.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of professionals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve project-related issues effectively and efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
