Ashley Services are delighted to be working with a well established company based in Los Angeles who are looking to add an Electrical Project Manager to their expanding team. They are an Electrical contracting company dedicated to providing luxury residential homeowners with revolutionary technologically advanced electrical systems.


JOB DETAILS:

The basic function of the Project Manager is to organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization’s research, development, and product implementation efforts.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversees a team of managers and analysts to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.

- Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.

- Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.

- Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.

- Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.

Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.

- Communicates and collaborates with sales and marketing teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems.

Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.

- The use of analytical and observational skills which demonstrate an ability to supervise others, follow company policy, interact with customers, handle construction equipment in difficult situations.

- Advanced electrical knowledge or in training

- Electrical hazards training


QUALIFICATIONS (preferred):

- Possession of, or ability to obtain within six months, Electrical Hazard Awareness Procedures and CPR/First Aid/AED certifications.

- Possession of certification as a Tree Worker and/or a Certified Arborist from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) is desirable.

- Some trade school or business college courses

- Five years’ experience in electrical installations.

Three years of project management supervisory experience.
