Project Manager with estimating experience!
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee and coordinate electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the commercial construction sector, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Estimating experience is a huge plus!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple electrical construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while monitoring progress and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and address any issues that arise.
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
- Estimate project costs and prepare bids for new projects.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the electrical or construction industry, preferably in commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in project estimation and budgeting.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
