Summary

The Project Manager for the Electrical Construction Division is responsible for overseeing and managing electrical construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with company standards and customer expectations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage projects from inception to completion. The Project Manager reports directly to the Electrical Construction Division Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop, manage, and coordinate construction schedules to ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Attend job site meetings and collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination.
  • Assist in budgeting and estimating project costs.
  • Maintain accurate document control for submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Ensure drawings and specifications are properly maintained and updated.
  • Oversee material releases and expediting to keep projects on track.
  • Provide field supervision support as needed.

Compliance & Administration

  • Maintain safety-related documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Complete and submit all required project documentation on time, including weekly reports.
  • Ensure all projects are accurately tracked using Spectrum and Exact Time software.
  • Keep all project information organized and up to date on the company server.

Customer & Team Management

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by ensuring projects exceed expectations.
  • Work closely with the estimating manager to facilitate project handoff upon approval.
  • Support and oversee Electrical Service Team members, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
  • Ensure all projects remain within budget and contribute to achieving annual revenue goals.
  • Utilize time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform additional assignments as required to support company needs and strategic goals.
  • Continuously strive for high levels of customer and employee satisfaction.



Qualifications & Requirements

  • Extensive electrical installation and troubleshooting experience.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in project estimating, design-build, and negotiated project development.
  • Strong contract administration expertise, including organization, coordination, and execution of project duties.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail, grammar, and professionalism.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy in client interactions and negotiations.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, ensuring win-win outcomes in customer dealings.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
