We are currently interviewing for the position of Electrical Estimator.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits, including 401K with a match, health, vision and dental insurance and vacation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Manage the bid process with consistency.

·        Attend job walks and clearly communicate your findings with the team.

·        Review bid packages and understand scopes of work.

·        Analyze contract documents, site conditions, plans, specifications, etc. to determine full scope of work as it may not be fully defined.

·        Complete detailed material takeoff for various electrical installations and systems.

·        Develop relationships with material providers, equipment vendors and subcontractors, and obtain current, competitive pricing for all related scope.

·        Generate information for the proposal letters, including clarifications and exclusions.

·        Prepare reports and bid forms required by certain bid items or conditions.

·        Participate in estimating reviews.

·        Participate in project kickoff meetings and transfer of knowledge to the execution team.

Qualifications:

·        Minimum of 1 years in an estimating roll.

·        Journeyman level field experience is preferred.

·        Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite and other software applications.

·        Written and verbal communication skills are a must.

·        Must be able to read, understand and interpret the following:

o  Contract documents

o  Drawings

o  Specifications

o  Scopes of work

o  Project schedules
