What You Will Do

  • Manage the entire life cycle of electrical projects, from conception and scope definition to commissioning, closure and documentation.
  • Prepare technical specifications, electrical plans and single-line diagrams (EPLAN) and other engineering documents necessary for projects.
  • Perform electrical calculations (loads, conductor sizing, protections, etc.) to ensure the proper functioning and safety of installations.
  • Design medium and low voltage electrical distribution systems, including the selection of equipment such as transformers, switches, protections, etc.
  • Design automation and control systems using PCC.
  • Directly supervise electrical installation work carried out by external contractors, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, deadlines, budget and safety regulations.
  • Test and commission electrical installations, verifying their correct operation and making any necessary adjustments.
  • Work closely with other departments (production, maintenance, quality, safety) to identify needs, define solutions and ensure the integration of projects, taking into account food quality standards.
  • Manage budgets and deadlines for electrical projects, controlling costs and ensuring completion within the established limits.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international electrical regulations (REBT, ATEX, etc.) and internal company policies, as well as food safety standards (HACCP, BRC, IFS, etc.) in all projects.
  • Participate in the preparation and updating of technical documentation for existing electrical installations.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the energy efficiency and reliability of the plant's electrical systems, taking into account food safety and hygiene requirements.
  • Provide technical support and electrical fault resolution to maintenance and production teams.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the field of industrial electrical engineering, as well as safety and quality standards in the food sector.


What We Are Looking For

  • 6 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Industrial Engineering Degree
  • High English and Spanish level
