CTG is seeking to fill an Electrical Planner III, Nuclear opening for our client in Richland, WA. Location: Richland, WA Duration: 12 months Duties: Plan and prepare electrical work packages for both large- and small-scale nuclear projects. Support electrical and contract maintenance teams to ensure work is performed safely, reliably, and efficiently. Develop work instructions and oversee implementation of modifications. Recommend or procure materials required for executing work packages. Conduct field walkdowns to evaluate maintenance/modification needs and improve package quality. Collaborate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to resolve work package issues. Define required procedures, drawings, materials, and tools for each work scope. Prepare documentation such as RWP's, barrier/fire impairments, operability statements, ALARA evaluations, regulatory/code support, and quality control points. Ensure compliance with applicable procedures, NEC codes, and nuclear standards. Review and approve work packages with focus on safety, technical accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Revise and maintain maintenance procedures to align with codes, standards, and vendor recommendations. Provide oversight and coordination for other planners or contract personnel. Participate in planning and scheduling meetings, risk assessments, clearance reviews, peer reviews, and system interaction assessments. Skills: Effective written and verbal communication. Strong computer proficiency. Problem-solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities. Time management and prioritization skills. Ability to obtain Planner I qualification. Working knowledge of nuclear plant work management and planning processes. Familiarity with safety regulations, ALARA, and nuclear security operations. Ability to simplify and improve business processes. Technical report writing and trend analysis skills. Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus. Ability to set goals, track metrics, and meet commitments. Experience: Minimum six years of experience in a technical field (e.g., maintenance, engineering, operations, or maintenance planning), depending on education level. Nuclear industry experience (minimum two years) preferred but not required. Education: Bachelor's degree and six years of technical experience, or Associate degree and eight years of technical experience, or High school diploma/GED with technical training (e.g., apprenticeship) and six years of technical experience, or High school diploma/GED with ten years of technical experience. Educational experience may be substituted year-for-year for work experience in a technical area. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
