Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating costs and preparing detailed project bids for electrical construction projects. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our projects are competitively priced while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects.
• Conduct site visits and engage with project stakeholders to gather necessary information for bid preparation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Prepare detailed bid proposals and cost breakdowns for review and submission.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.
• Utilize estimating software tools, such as Accubid, to streamline the estimating process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and regulations affecting electrical construction projects.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an estimator in the electrical construction industry or similar.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in estimating software, such as Accubid, is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
