Purpose and Scope:

• We are looking for an experienced Medium Voltage and High Voltage Engineer to coordinate interconnection and substation designs for Solar PV, Wind and BESS projects, working closely with the Engineering and Construction team. You will be the primary point of contact and have knowledge/expertise in power system architectures, design, and test. Lead analysis of system requirements and development of architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various power supply products. Leads development of high-level and detailed electronic power supply designs consistent with requirements and specifications. Lead technical assessment on M&A project and lead engineering review on execution project

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Business Development on technical proposal, estimated project size and costing through technical assessment of site and drawings
• Produce design drawing eg: SLD, PV layout, Stringing, using AutoCAD software
• Provide technical know-how to overcome engineering obstacles
• Develop design specification and functional requirements for projects
• Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning
• Provide support to technical design, review and approve engineering drawing submissions
• Ensuring the compliance with all the specifications and requirements included in the signed EPC contracts
• Create and deploy engineering standards. Willing to travel with short notice
• Support Resource Assessment during feasibility studies stage and other commercial needs
• Working with Business Development to develop a plan for the project
• Calculate IRR / LCOE
• Detailed building of Bill of Quantity, and costing
• Prepare tender documents

Qualification & Experience:

• Licensed and current electrical engineer
• Min 8 years’ experience in design and engineering projects
• Working experience in renewable energy and EPC firm is preferred

• Good balance between technical knowledge and commercial marketing capabilities.
