The position

As an Electrical Engineer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. Key Responsibilities

You will support the Electrical Lead Engineer across various offshore projects. Working closely with Engineers and Designers within and beyond the electrical discipline, you will be responsible for producing high-quality engineering outputs.

You will apply your in-depth knowledge of electrical power generation and distribution systems to ensure all designs comply with international codes, company specifications, and industry standards. You may also take on Package Engineer responsibilities, holding technical ownership over the design, procurement, and manufacturing phases of specific equipment packages.

• Perform Electrical System Studies for offshore facilities.
• Design and review electrical components and systems.
• Produce high-quality electrical project documents according to project specifications and standards.
• Identify and manage changes from the original project scope.
• Work in alignment with internal and project-specific work instructions.
• Interface and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across global locations.

What you bring to the position

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position within the offshore or energy sectors.
• Experience with (Pre-)FEED, Basic, and Detail Engineering phases.
• Advanced technical expertise in electrical power generation, distribution systems, and electrical equipment.
• Electrical System Design, Analysis, and Studies (Load flow, Short-circuit, Harmonics, Arc Flash)
• Electrical Power Generation and Distribution
• Electrical Equipment Specification and Selection (generators, transformers, switchgear, motors)
• Proficiency with electrical analysis software (e.g., ETAP, SKM)
• Knowledge of International Standards (IEC, IEEE, API, DNV, ABS)
• Offshore Codes and Compliance (ATEX, IECEx for hazardous areas)
