Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
• Must be proficient with AutoCAD for electrical schematics design
• 5+ years of experience with power distribution and cabling for complex, electromechanical equipment. Experience in the semiconductor, manufacturing, or robotics industry is transferrable.
• Experience creating one-line diagrams and schematics
• Knowledge of 3 phase power systems, back-up power systems,
• Ability to select cables based on systems specifications
• Design experience with low and medium voltage AC power distribution systems
• Knowledge of electrical safety principles and practices (NEC, NFPA-70 & NFPA70E)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing and installing AC system upgrades
• Create electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and installation instructions
• Hands-on testing, and troubleshooting of power distribution, cables, power supplies
• Coordinate install of power supplies, equipment, and cable infrastructure
• Help to coordinate fabrication and installation of power supply including selecting materials, reviewing design drawings, establishing inspection criteria, etc.
• Guide Electrician on power supply testing per designs
• Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
