- Job Title: Electrical Engineer, PE

Based in Las Vegas, we are an established MEP firm providing mechanical, plumbing, and electrical engineering services for the construction industry. Projects are both new construction and renovation, including commercial, higher education, K-12, retail, hospitality, and government.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
- Create and review electrical system design drawings using AutoCAD, MEP, Revit, and BIM360 software.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other project team members to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into building designs.
- Provide technical expertise and support to project team members, including engineers, technicians, and drafters.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure proper installation and functioning of electrical systems.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on project progress.
- Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and changes in codes and regulations related to electrical engineering.
Qualifications
- BS or BAE in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years experience in the design of electrical lighting, power distribution and auxiliary systems for commercial, educational and institutional buildings.
- Capable of, and is expected to design and prepare electrical engineering drawings with direct supervision.
- Understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and electrical systems design and construction.
- Knowledge of National Electric Code (2017 or later).
- Knowledge of current building codes and standards.
- Proficient with AutoCAD MEP, REVIT and BIM360.
- Proficient with Photometric modeling software (Visual Lighting Software)
- Proficient in the operation of industry standard electrical design software.
