Position Overview:

Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, coordination, and implementation of electrical systems across construction projects. This role involves overseeing all phases from early planning through construction, ensuring systems are safe, efficient, and meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Engineering:

• Conduct site surveys and identify potential risks.
• Support early planning, test fits, and gather equipment budgets and lead times.
• Assist with concept design and equipment selection.

Design Phase:

• Design electrical systems (power, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage).
• Create drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Perform load calculations and select suitable equipment.
• Support value engineering and compliance processes.

Construction Support:

• Issue drawing revisions and respond to technical questions.
• Support site inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Review as-built drawings and ensure proper documentation.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related experience.
• 4+ years of electrical design experience in construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and basic electrical analysis tools.
• Knowledge of codes, standards, and coordination of MEP systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
