We are looking for a skilled hardware engineer to join our team in developing innovative mixed reality (MR) input devices. As part of our cross-functional team, you will collaborate with experts in electrical, mechanical, firmware, software, and research to Develop and refine concepts into prototype, test hypotheses that inform and define future MR experiences and hardware products and drive innovation in the development of MR input devices.BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field. 2+ years of industry experience in electrical hardware design. Solid understanding of PCB layout principles, including signal integrity, power layout, desense, DFM, etc. Experience with schematic and board layout using Altium, Cadence, or equivalent Experience with hands-on board and system bring-up, debugging, root cause analysis, and functional verification using standard engineering test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic/spectrum/network analyzers, function generators, etc.) Experience integrating electrical systems that include components such as optoelectronics, communication interfaces (e.g., MIPI, USB, I2C, SPI, PCIe, etc.), sensors, FPGAs, microcontrollers, amplifiers, power supplies, low-noise circuits, ADCs, DACs, and/or power sequencing. Experience and knowledge of printed circuit board (PCB) technologies, such as rigid, flex, hybrid, and/or HDI, etc. Experience with circuit simulation using SPICE or equivalent. Experience in consumer product hardware design and exposure to Design For Manufacturing (DFM) principles. Experience with input devices or wearables. Experience with C or C++ for embedded system development on one of the following ARM-based microcontroller families or equivalent. (STMicroelectronics, Nordic, Microchip, NXP, etc.) Experience with python scripting Experience with CAD modeling tools such as NX, SolidWorks, Fusion360, or equivalent. Experience working in multiple technical projects with cross-functional teams and/or vendors.
