Sensewaves build Adaptix.Grid, one of the most innovative AI-powered software solutions for the analysis of the distribution grid. Job


We are looking for an Electrical engineer with experience in Distribution Networks to drive the evolution of our product, and transform customer needs into new use cases. You will have a central position in our team at the crossroads between users, projects and our technical team. You will work closely with our product owners, developers, and AI scientists to develop innovative solutions for our clients' challenges and enhance our software. You will evolve and learn in a stimulating international environment, within a fast growing startup. We are looking for people with strong motivation, teamwork and creative skills and a taste for initiative, interested in actively contributing to the energy transition and net zero carbon initiatives.


Mission


Key role within the tech team:



  • Be at the interface between users, projects and the technical development team

  • Improve core product processes

  • Develop new product functionalities and modules

  • Specify requirements and design workflows

  • Keep in touch with the smart grid community

  • Collect user feedback and requests, and act on it

  • Keep our users happy!


Requirements

Profile and experience



  • Master or Ph.D in Electrical Engineering

  • 2 years of experience or more


Skills



  • Electrical engineering with deep knowledge of distribution networks

  • Reliability, Planning, Circuit analysis, State estimation, asset management, DER

  • Network modeling and simulation

  • EU and US grid architectures

  • Communication, reporting, presentation skills

  • Fluent in English


Bonus points



  • Computer science and programming skills

  • GIS and spatial data analysis

  • Machine learning / AI tools (Python, R, ...)
