Duties & Responsibilities:
· Design and develop motors, considering specific requirements and performance objectives.
· Utilize 2D and 3D electrical machine design software (e.g., MATLAB, ANSYS, Motor-CAD) to create detailed motor designs and models.
· Conduct electromagnetic analysis and simulations to evaluate motor performance, efficiency, and electromagnetic forces.
· Optimize motor designs through iterative improvements and simulations, aiming for enhanced efficiency and reduced losses.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to understand requirements and ensure designs align with project goals.
· Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design proposals to identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
· Perform thermal analysis to assess motor temperature and optimize cooling systems to ensure motor reliability and longevity.
· Conduct structural analysis and simulations to ensure motor components can withstand mechanical stresses and vibrations.
· Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and performance reports.
· Stay updated with the latest motor design trends, technologies, and industry standards to propose innovative solutions and enhancements.
· Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source motor components and materials, ensuring their compatibility with design requirements.
· Provide support and guidance during the motor prototyping and testing phases, addressing any design-related issues or modifications as necessary.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Motor Design Engineer, with a strong background in motor design and 2D/3D electrical machine design.
· Proficiency in 2D and 3D electrical machine design software (e.g., MATLAB, ANSYS, Motor-CAD) to create detailed designs and conduct simulations.
· In-depth knowledge of motor design principles, including electromagnetic theory, motor topologies, and winding configurations.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use simulation tools and data analysis to optimize motor designs.
· Familiarity with thermal analysis and cooling systems for motor applications.
· Understanding of mechanical engineering principles related to motor design, such as structural analysis and vibration analysis.
· Good communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
· Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in design work and simulations.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
