Electrical Engineer Opportunity Supporting a Top Electronics Company!!
Job Description
Join a dynamic global research and development team dedicated to advancing printed circuit board designs using Cadence design systems, particularly Allegro. You will play a crucial role in releasing projects to manufacturing by capturing schematic designs, creating new part numbers, and detailing printed board assemblies for both new and legacy products. Your expertise will be essential in resolving discrepancies between design and fabrication requirements, attending engineering change order meetings, and collaborating with various departments to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
* Design and improve printed circuit board layouts using Cadence Allegro.
* Release projects to manufacturing by capturing schematic designs and creating BOM structures.
* Utilize Windchill PDM to store fabrication documentation and schematics.
* Resolve design and fabrication discrepancies by modifying designs or coordinating with vendors.
* Participate in regular team meetings, including engineering change order meetings.
* Collaborate with engineering resources, project management, and purchasing to apply engineering concepts to complex problems.
* Propose innovative solutions to streamline processes and manage tasks efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with regulations and standards to maintain product and company reputation.
Essential Skills
* Proficiency in Cadence Allegro and Windchill PDM.
* Strong schematic design and PCB layout skills.
* 4+ years of experience in control electronic products, analog and digital circuits, and power electronics.
* Ability to lead PCB specs release in qualification and PDM.
* Knowledge of test equipment including CRO, AC/DC Sources, and Multimeters.
* Ability to design PCBs that meet electrical, EMC, Safety, mechanical, thermal, and DFA/DFM requirements.
* Capability to run independent tests and troubleshoot products.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
* Experience with design packages and PLM tools, specifically Allegro and Windchill PDM.
* Cross-functional collaboration skills with Mechanical, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, and Project Management.
* Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
* Knowledge of Ladder Logic GE Proficy Software or Modicon Control Expert Software.
* Proficient computer skills in MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access.
* Excellent verbal and written communication with all levels of management.
* Strong problem-solving abilities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $46.00/hr.
