Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the power lab test team to translate their insights into well-defined test requirements and use cases.

• Configure and adapt diverse power lab equipment for automation, leveraging Python programming.

• Assume ownership of any software or hardware tools integral to achieving automation

• within workbench environments.

• Proactively engage with vendors to facilitate project success.

• Evaluate, test, and integrate emerging technologies into lab operations.

• Take charge of projects that introduce new technologies or innovative applications of existing ones.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration to guarantee seamless rollout, comprehensive testing, and complete validation.

• Provide training sessions on workbench automation to empower the Power Test Lab team.

• Champion a culture of continuous learning and process enhancement within the automation domain.

• Extend support to Lab management for the Power Test team, encompassing tasks such as ordering essential parts and equipment, as well as overseeing calibration equipment with external vendors.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience working in a Power Electronics/Electrical Engineering technical environment

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with basic power electronic laboratory measurement techniques and equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, DAQ systems, and high power supplies/loads), with preferred knowledge of scripting languages such as Python/Perl.

Knowledge of power electronics, and various power conversion designs for data center power delivery.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail, and the ability to work with cross-functional project teams
