JOB TITLE: Design Engineer - Electrical

LOCATION: Chennai

DEPARTMENT: Renewables

EXPERIENCE: B.E/B. Tech (Electrical) with min. 5-8 years

QUALIFICATION: B.E/B. Tech (Electrical)

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

 Design (Concept Feed and Detail Design) Electrical Distribution Systems for Low Voltage, High Voltage, EHV Electrical system based on IEC/IS Standards

 Prepare Design basis report, Single line diagram, BOQ, Switchyard drawings at PSS and GSS end, Gantry’s etc.

 Perform equipment sizing calculations e.g. Transformer, Generator, HV/LV cables, AC, UPS, Capacitor Banks

 Perform indoor lighting, outdoor area, illumination in Dialux or vendor software, calculations for Earthing and Lighting protection

 Experience in System studies software such as ETAP, PvSyst and drafting software like AutoCAD

 Prepare RFP for Switchyard equipment, MCR, ICR, HT Panels and GTP for Transformer, CB, LA, Isolator, CT/PT etc.

 Ready to do for Project First Analysis, IRR’s, LCOE etc.

 Responsible to fulfil the Organization requirements as per ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 17020:2012

 Good Understanding & Working knowledge of various Solar & Wind Power Project and related engineering

 Daily monitor the reports received from the engineers, provide feedback to the engineers and train the team.

 If any Non Conformity during site audit and reports take necessary corrective and preventive action.

 Qualification, Methodology, Supervision and mapping the competence.
