Summary

The State Group is currently seeking an Electrical Department Manager based in Buffalo, New York. This position plays a critical role in overseeing multiple projects, ensuring successful execution, and leading project teams. This position is responsible for managing the estimating and project management for $25M+ of union electrical construction business within a larger overall division. This position is an integral part of our success and provides opportunities for future growth and advancement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of construction project management and/or estimating experience with experience supervising others.
• Experience leading heavy industrial projects.
• Intermediate MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Prefer experience in managing a variety of project sizes ranging from service and maintenance to large multi-disciplined turnkey projects.
• Time management skills, the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks effectively with a proven track record of success in a busy, deadline-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• .Identify and quantify potential cost uncertainties to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs.
