Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for various electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with automation and control systems, ensuring efficient and safe operation of equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical control systems for industrial applications.
- Create and modify electrical schematics and layouts using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Program and configure PLCs and HMIs for automation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with other engineering disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with UL, NEMA, and CE standards in all designs and implementations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing control systems and equipment.
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure functionality and safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Design heavy background with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CAD software.
- Proven experience in electrical controls engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of control systems design and implementation.
- Familiarity with UL, NEMA, and CE standards.
- Experience with PLC programming and HMI design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
