Electrical Controls Engineer-About The Role

As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting PLC hardware and software systems for high-precision manufacturing machinery. This role offers a balanced mix of lab and computer work, allowing you to contribute both creatively and technically to impactful automation solutions.

Electrical Controls Engineer-Key Responsibilities

• Design and integrate new electrical hardware and PLC-based software for manufacturing equipment
• Support, troubleshoot, and enhance existing electrical systems and control software
• Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and system diagrams
• Implement IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) interfaces and automation logic
• Coordinate the integration of third-party devices and systems
  
  

Electrical Controls Engineer-Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Hands-on experience in PLC design and programming
• Proficiency in C or C++ programming languages
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring, and industrial controls
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
