Title: Electrical Controls Engineer

Primary Responsibilities

• Design control systems, including panel layout, wiring schematics, write PLC programs for various in-house equipment and automation.
• Work closely with the Maintenance department to troubleshoot and support existing equipment.
• Develop and write operating, setup, maintenance procedures.
• In partnership with the production team, review equipment efficiency and utilization to help identify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities.
• Design improvements to existing equipment and processes.
  
  

Requirements & Nice-to-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is required
• 10 years minimum experience with manufacturing controls
• Robotic programming
• PLC & HMI programming
• Strong electrical knowledge
• Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Proficiency with 2D CAD software (3D a plus)
• Mechanical aptitude
• Analytical skills
• Machine vision a plus
• Detailed oriented
• Good communication skills
• Good organizational skills
  
  

Salary: $90000 - $110000 per year
