🔧 What You’ll Do:

  • Design & Develop: Engineer electrical control systems for industrial equipment—including schematics, custom panels, test systems, and automated production lines—with a focus on precision and performance.
  • Lead Projects: Take charge from concept to completion—develop budgets, timelines, and execution strategies with autonomy and confidence.
  • Troubleshoot & Optimize: Solve control system issues both on-site and off, improving reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with mechanical engineers, sales, tech support, and production teams to ensure systems align with real-world applications.
  • Support Production: Maintain and enhance electrical test areas, write user manuals, and support system upgrades for new and existing equipment.
  • Drive Innovation: Identify areas for automation, cost savings, and process improvement—bringing forward ideas that lead to smarter solutions.


📐 What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical design and industrial controls, preferably in manufacturing or product development
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • PLC programming, VFDs, motor controls
  • Hydraulic system design and integration (a strong plus)
  • Industrial equipment—dock systems experience is a bonus!
  • Expert in AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Blocks, and electrical schematic development (this role is 90% schematic work)
  • Solid project management and communication skills—you can own the details and still see the big picture
  • A passion for solving complex problems with elegant, efficient engineering
