Concord Engineering Group is seeking an Electrical Associate Engineer for our Voorhees office to work in our Commercial/Hospitality Department. The Associate Engineer is an entry-level position where you will work with seasoned engineers, to provide engineering design support to our clients in the Commercial/Hospitality arena. The responsibilities of this position include: Perform engineering calculations, prepare single line diagrams, sizing of electrical components and equipment, conduct short circuit analysis where required, and prepare technical specifications Perform engineering calculations, preparing single line diagrams, sizing of electrical components and equipment, conduct short circuit analysis where required and prepare technical specifications. Review projects regularly to ensure departmental standards and requirements are consistent with client requirements and the project budget. Perform design, layout, and checking of electrical systems drawings and ensure the technical correctness of the drawings by using the applicable job, federal, state, and local standards and codes. Perform site surveys, energy audits, attend project meetings, and provide field construction support, as required.
