Assistant Project Manager

Position Overview

The Assistant Project Manager will support the project management team in overseeing and executing various construction projects, with a focus on industrial and commercial sectors. This role is essential for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and implementation of project activities
• Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project team
• Help manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring that all financial and time constraints are adhered to
• Facilitate communication between contractors, clients, and team members
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports
• Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management or related roles
• Strong understanding of industrial and commercial construction processes
• Familiarity with electrical systems and their application in projects
• Experience working in environments such as schools, healthcare facilities, and power plants
• Knowledge of union regulations, specifically IBEW guidelines
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
