Final Assembly Oversight/Leadership (Approximately 20% of time)
Work Schedule: Night Shift, Monday- Thursday 2 PM- 12:30 AM
Project Delivery
- Ensure that production is maintained in accordance with time schedules, electrical specifications and codes,
MSHA/OSHA and quality standards, employee safety and cost goals, and also assist in maintaining a goal oriented, safe, and quality-conscious working environment
- Direct supervision and monitoring of lead/ employee's job performance to electrical assembly to documented
procedures
- Look ahead on scheduling with input from Manufacturing Manager to best direct workforce priority jobs
- Coordinate staffing with team leads for best utilization of employee resources
- Discuss/review project performance with team leads and employees
- Provide training and direction to team leads, assemblers and technicians; coach and make effective suggestions
and recommendations to improve employee performance and develop career paths
- Provide leadership to leads and employees on Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Ensures employees are fully trained in all aspects of their jobs and provides training where it is required to
ensure safety, quality, and production requirements are understood and that leads and new Electrical
Technicians demonstrate proficiency
Requirements
- Wire and install electrical components, switch gears, electrical switches and electronic instruments and devices,
such as programmable process controllers, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), data loggers, relays, breakers
and other electronic instrumentation equipment used in the manufacture and repair of electrical power stations
and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment
and make necessary repairs.
- Conduct electrical testing and recommend or initiate modification or replacement of equipment which fails to
meet acceptable operating standards.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions
- Determine reparability and cost to repair equipment, refurbish equipment and, replace defective parts.
- Adjust, calibrate, align, and modifies circuitry and components and records effects on unit performance
Position Summary: Responsible for the daily supervision of all aspects of the Electrical Assembly Production
Department in accordance with required quality standards and in a cost efficient manner. Train and mentor leads and
employees to maximize their technical skills and to advance career growth; monitors employee performance, tracks and
reports on department quality and schedules employees work to meet production schedule.

Operations
- Develop performance standards to ensure consistency and uniformity in production output and quality
- Facilitate the engagement of Manufacturing Manager, Engineering, PM’s, Purchasing, to ensure smooth
production flow
- Work with the testing department to ensure proper functionality is achieved on each unit before the unit leaves
the facility.
- Conduct departmental audits of the Final Assembly Production process to ensure compliance with safety, quality
and production standards and policies
- Generate and present reports on quality and production
- Provide feedback on the Production and Final Assembly process
- Maintain necessary flexibility within assigned operation, ensuring effective reaction to customer requirements
that frequently disrupt established production schedules
