Diversified Machine Systems is a privately held corporation with headquarters located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are an industry-leading designer and American manufacturer of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC Routers and machine solutions.

We supply machines to a wide variety of manufacturing sectors including aerospace, automotive, marine, recreational vehicles, 3D sculpture, concept models, pattern making, formed plastic and woodworking among others.

Schedule: Day Shift Available

Monday thru Thursday 7:00am – 4:45pm (45 min lunch) Friday 7:00am – 11:00am

Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 Per Hour – Depending on Experience

Primary Responsibilities:

This position is primarily responsible for assembling products in an efficient manner to maximize production.

Job Description Summary

Responsible for wiring main electrical panels and ensuring specifications and tolerances are met.

Specific Job Duties

  • Routes, wires, assembles, and installs electrical and electronic components into CNC main control panels according to specifications, diagrams, and other computer-generated models of CNC routers.
  • Looks for faulty components and mistakes in specifications. Reports quality control issues immediately to supervisor.
  • Reads and interprets instructions, assembles parts, and tools, and fits electronic components together while completing checklists for assigned tasks
  • Assists in training new hires to the electrical department with ability to solve problems
  • Performs other related duties as assigned and able to work with minimal supervision


Education/ Skills/Physical Job Requirements

  • One year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist level on an occasional basis climb on a ladder and be exposed to risk of electrical shock, fumes and/or airborne particles
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
  • The individual will be frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock, fumes, and/or airborne particles.
