Our client, a leader in the supply chain industry, is seeking an Electrical and Automation Manager to join their team. As an Electrical and Automation Manager, you will be part of the manufacturing operations supporting a dynamic and innovative team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for automation technologies, and a commitment to safety and compliance, which will align successfully with the organization.
Job Title: Electrical and Automation Manager
Location: Wilson, North Carolina
Pay Range: $112,000 - $150,000
What's the Job?
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical and automation systems for manufacturing and industrial processes.
- Lead and coach a team of electrical engineers, automation specialists, and technicians.
- Develop and implement PLC, SCADA, HMI, and other control systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage capital projects, oversee commissioning/testing of new automation solutions, and lead the selection/integration of robotics and industrial automation technologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards, including OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E, and regulatory standards such as GMP and FDA.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, electrical, or controls engineering in high-volume manufacturing sectors.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial networking.
- Strong project management and leadership skills, with experience managing budgets and timelines for large-scale initiatives.
- Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and electrical codes.
