Summary
Job Description
Electronic Health Record Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Electronic EMR. Building templates, documents, and programs for the EMR. Training new providers and staff. Maintaining compliance with the EMR use. Reviews, analyzes, and modifies application to support the health system’s operational goals. Acts as a liaison between physician practices, hospital departments and Information Technology to assist with successful implementations and follow up. Participates in and leads project teams related to Practice Management EMR systems and Information Technology applications. Manages all aspects of the EMR system, troubleshooting, training, setting providers up with Identrust, and workflows that will help with quality and productivity.
Education And Credentials
Responsibilities
High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in related field preferred.
Experience
Other information:
Experience in medical record applications Medent preferred. Previous experience in the utilization of information processing principles and techniques in a healthcare environment including systems and procedures analysis and systems support strongly preferred. Clerical/clinical experience in office setting with EMRs, or equivalent training/experience.
