Applicants should embrace this philosophy when applying. * Assist with lesson planning and preparing materials for lessons as well as lesson delivery (when needed) * Collaborate with staff and service providers to support students * Support students in classrooms with academic/behavioral/emotional needs * Maintain positive relationships with families, allowing classroom teachers to address concerns with parents * Assist students in toileting/diapering (if needed) * Create a collaborative and nurturing environment for students to learn and take risks * Maintain confidentiality regarding all personal information regarding children, families, and staff * Guide and counsel students with adjustment and/or academic problems * Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, families, and staff. * Facilitate group activities * Other duties assigned by the building administration and/or supervising staff
