Service-Learning Educational Development Specialist


Position Overview: Boise State University’s Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) seeks a Service-Learning (SL) Educational Development Specialist to support faculty in integrating service-learning and experiential learning into courses. This role involves faculty consultation, outreach, and program assessment to enhance community-engaged learning. 


Key Responsibilities:

Faculty Support – Consult with faculty, facilitate workshops, and develop resources for SL courses.

Outreach & Assessment – Promote service-learning, track impact, and supervise a graduate assistant.

Campus Engagement – Support experiential learning initiatives and professional development.


Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of experience.

Preferred: Advanced degree, teaching experience, and expertise in experiential learning.

Skills: Strong facilitation, communication, and program coordination abilities.


✔ Salary: $53,456–$60,000 + full benefits, including retirement, health insurance, and tuition waivers.
