We are looking for an Editorial Project Manager to support the execution of large-scale editorial campaigns and special projects, including national recognition programs, tentpole initiatives, and editorial reports. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys collaborating across teams and time zones.
You’ll work closely with editorial professionals and cross-functional stakeholders to manage timelines, deliverables, and processes. Strong communication skills, editorial sensibility, and organizational excellence are key to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and execute multiple editorial campaigns by coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Establish and maintain project documentation such as plans, timelines, agendas, and post-project wrap-ups.
Streamline workflows by developing and implementing templates, tools, and standardized processes.
Monitor project progress and ensure alignment across contributors and deadlines.
Collect and report key performance metrics to guide strategy and process improvements.
Draft internal communications and updates for executives and stakeholders.
Assist in building distribution and engagement strategies based on campaign outcomes.
Be a collaborative and flexible team player ready to support where needed.
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in project or program management within editorial, media, marketing, or communications.
Proficient with Slack, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Comfortable working with data and drawing insights to inform decisions.
Proven ability to adapt, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong writing and internal communication skills.
Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
