The Editor shall assume overall responsibility for all stages of production of textbooks, work texts and teacher's guides. Coordinate and track flow of production process and ensure the timely delivery of projects. Perform mechanical and substantive editing on manuscripts to ensure quality of materials and conformity to house style, guidelines and standards. Correspond with management, other departments, authors, external support groups and consultants.
Requirements:
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree (Journalism, Communication, English, Education, Mathematics, or related courses)
Relevant teaching and editing experiences are preferred
M.A. studies and relevant trainings are a definite advantage
Must have good fact-checking, research, editing, proofreading and writing skills
Has a good technical command of written English
Good communication skills
