RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor & Maintain assigned client’s EDI environments Troubleshoot issues as they arise Communicate with client and internal Persimmon stakeholders on situation status as necessary Work with clients to understand business integration & EDI requirements that they need to address Maintain detailed documentation and process flow of all EDI processes within client system Evaluate user requests for new and modifications to client’s systems for EDI Perform all administrative tasks for such systems including backup & recovery, health maintenance, user & security administration, performance optimization, diagnostics Review, analyze, document business requirements, systems capabilities, system gaps, process improvements Review, analyze, document system level requirements including technical capabilities, data integration specifications, database designs, system context, QA/testing plans Review, analyze, document opportunities for improvement Build, configure, map, setup and perform basic administration of systems including some development Perform gap analysis and recommend best-in-class options for improvements in performance, resilience and/or capacity Responsible for the health of all related systems Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Experience implementing, configuring, and maintaining EDI systems. Knowledge of EDI standard formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.) and EDI translators. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with business users and co-workers.
