The International eCommerce Third Parties team are recruiting an eCommerce Account Assistant to be at the forefront of our global growth! Based at Head Office in Leicestershire, offering a competitive salary alongside great benefits!

The team

The International eCommerce Trading team fuels global growth by managing and optimising online product sales across 72 international markets. They drive exciting product launches, strategic promotions, and collaborate with leading third-party platforms to maximise sales and brand visibility worldwide.

Within this, the Third Parties team help connect NEXT with other large selling platforms such as Zalando and La Redoute to sell thousands of products. These platforms delivered strong growth for NEXT last year and to continue to support this growth we need ever improving data points and manipulation.

The role

As the eCommerce Account Assistant, you will have a key role in helping grow the NEXT business through Third Party sites, such as Amazon, Zalando and LaRedoute. You’ll be working within a commercially driven department, where our strategic aim is to grow sales profitably. You will help identify and develop new initiatives to increase the number of items available on third party websites, and you will help to manage the Amazon account.

What else is involved?

  • Partner Management – you’ll be a key point of contact between our partner and Next specifically helping manage the Amazon account.
  • Ownership of all aspects of the product on boarding and launch process including data management.
  • Manage logistics and customer service KPIs and ensure a close line of communication with relevant teams.
  • Translate ideas into practical solutions that improve performance and efficiencies.
  • Build a close relationship with the trading team to help exploit key trading opportunities.
  • Confident presenter, able to communicate across all levels of the business and a positive influencer on senior team members, to win support for positive change and growth.
  • Develop a network of productive relationships internally and externally that helps ensure developments are considered and supported.
  • Attend and present at all relevant internal meetings and account reviews with third party sales channels.
  • Be an ambassador for the third parties and international team, both internally and externally.

You’ll be doing all this from our Leicestershire Head Office. Our offices are inspiring, yes. But we understand that life happens. So, we’re big on making sure your work, works for you which is why we offer flexible working - 3 days in the office per week.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience of working within an eCommerce environment.
  • International eCommerce experience is desired but not essential.
  • Previous experience working with an Amazon account - i.e. experience of onboarding items and/or managing deliveries into Amazon.
  • Highly analytical, confident with numbers and able to spot issues, patterns and trends.
  • Good problem solver.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to present to a range of audiences.
  • Focused on achieving personal and company goals.
  • Motivates others through personal examples with a clear sense of vision, direction and belief.
  • Extremely organised and able to manage time effectively to juggle ad-hoc work alongside usual tasks and longer-term projects.
