Based in Palo Alto, CA, we're looking for early-career engineers ready to apply systems thinking, data analysis, and workflow design to real-world, high-impact manufacturing challenges. YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR (Responsibilities): * Supporting the production of existing products in Klystron Group. Participate in development projects, specifically performing mechanical and RF design and analysis. * Participates in the overall detailed product design, analysis, and testing. * Project responsibility and carrying it through various stages of design and development per project scope of the work/project charter. * Recognizing design problems and taking corrective action, identifying areas of cost reduction/yield improvement and implementing appropriate changes. * Working with manufacturing during pilot run and first product runs, to ensure an efficient transition from engineering into production. * Supporting the production of existing products, including but not limited to product improvement and building efficiency initiatives. * Developing and improving engineering processes and work instructions for building high quality products. YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE THESE PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * An Industrial, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering Bachelor's Degree. * US Citizenship and able to obtain/maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance. * 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Whether you've completed internships, co-ops, or hands-on coursework, we're prepared to support your development into a skilled engineer and long-term contributor to our team. * Ability to manage programs, projects, and products independently with direct supervision. * Experience with Solid Modeling Software (AutoCAD/Autodesk, SolidWorks) and Process Simulation Software. * Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) * Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication and organizational skills * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Ability to work on a team and be a team player. * Strong work ethics and initiative.
