Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced E-Commerce Specialist for a sports organization to lead the operations and strategy of our online retail platform. This contract position is based in Inglewood, California, and offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our e-commerce presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving online sales, enhancing customer experiences, and ensuring the seamless execution of digital retail initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the e-commerce platform, including strategy, daily operations, and digital retail initiatives.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve website traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and profit margins.
- Oversee the implementation of e-commerce development projects, ensuring timely and effective execution of website changes.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align online campaigns with brand standards and capitalize on digital marketing opportunities.
- Evaluate and optimize warehouse operations to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to ensure excellent customer experiences and identify growth opportunities.
- Manage external vendors and resources to support business objectives and meet e-commerce goals.
- Oversee the e-commerce budget, tracking expenditures and measuring the effectiveness of spending.
- Research and assess emerging digital technologies and trends to enhance the platform's capabilities.
- Provide support for customer service inquiries as needed, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in e-commerce and online marketing platforms, demonstrating attention to detail.
- Expertise in Shopify, including working with its most recent version and features.
- Familiarity with tools such as Gorgias or similar platforms for customer service management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong ability to build and execute e-commerce strategies from the ground up.
- Exceptional teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to use data-driven insights to inform decisions and drive operational excellence.
