Position Overview

The Senior Business Central Developer will be responsible for the development, customization, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. With at least 8 years of experience in ERP systems, you will leverage your expertise to lead the design, development, and integration of Business Central solutions that support our clients' business goals. This is a remote position, offering you the opportunity to collaborate with an international team of Responsibilities : Central Development & Customization :

• Design and implement complex Business Central (BC) solutions to meet clients' specific business needs, including workflows, automation, and business rules.
• Customize Business Central features using AL programming language, C/AL, and Extensions to enhance functionality and optimize
  
  

user experience.

• Develop and deploy new custom modules, integrations, and features for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Migrations & Upgrades :
• Lead migration efforts to transition clients from legacy Navision systems to Business Central and ensure a smooth, efficient process.
• Upgrade, configure, and migrate Navision installations to Microsoft Dynamics 365 to support evolving business Integration :
• Develop and maintain integrations between Business Central and other systems (CRM, accounting, inventory management, etc.) to streamline business processes and enhance data accuracy.
• Work closely with third-party vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to design and implement API integrations and data exchange Architecture & Design :
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand client requirements and translate them into actionable development tasks.
• Propose and implement solutions that adhere to best practices, scalability, and system performance standards.
• Develop and enforce coding standards, methodologies, and procedures for Business Central and Dynamics 365 Optimization & Troubleshooting :
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve the speed, scalability, and efficiency of the Business Central system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system errors, integration problems, and custom Collaboration & Support :
• Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, provide technical recommendations, and ensure that Business Central solutions meet business objectives.
• Provide training to clients, users, and internal team members on Business Central features, functionality, and best practices.
• Offer ongoing support and maintenance for Business Central implementations, ensuring systems are optimized and & Reporting :
• Create detailed technical documentation for system architecture, code, customizations, and integrations.
• Document troubleshooting steps, known issues, and their resolutions.
• Prepare reports and status updates for project management and client Team Collaboration :
• Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, business analysts, and project managers) in a fully remote environment.
• Take ownership of project timelines and deliverables, ensuring milestones are met and the client's expectations are & Qualifications :
• 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Central Developer or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer.
• Deep expertise in Business Central (BC), Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Navision, including : Strong knowledge of AL programming language, C/AL, Extensions, and Web Services.
• Experience with ERP systems design, development, and integration.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Business Central modules (finance, sales, supply chain, inventory, etc.).
• Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Hands-on experience with API integration, data migration, and third-party integrations.
• Proficiency in version control, debugging, and testing techniques, ensuring high-quality code delivery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
• Remote work experience is essential, with the ability to manage tasks independently and maintain productivity across time zones.
• Knowledge of Azure, DevOps, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes is a plus.
• Microsoft Certified in Dynamics 365 Business Central or Navision is a strong Skills :
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) or Dynamics CRM.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies, specifically Azure.
• Experience with Jet Reports or Power BI for reporting and data analysis.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience in setting up automated testing and deployment pipelines.
