Position: Dynamic Audit Solutions (DAS) Implementation Project Manager



Description



The individual’s primary scope of responsibility involves overseeing the implementation of the DAS platform for the attest practice from inception to successful rollout. The individual will need to interact with representatives from CPA.com, software vendors, stakeholders, as well as others across all levels of the Firm and must have the ability to manage multiple projects. The individual will report to the Firm’s DAS Project Group Leadership.



This individual will be involved in the following responsibilities/functions and should possess the following qualifications:



Essential Duties



  • Support all aspects of the software implementation
  • Assist in developing detailed implementation plans
  • Serve as the primary contact for implementation activities, working closely with the Firm’s DAS Project Group Leadership, the Firm’s Quality Management Administration Committee, the Firm’s IT Department, the Firm’s Learning & Development Team, software vendors and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate training sessions for firm personnel
  • Oversee and assist with data conversion and migration from CCH Engagement
  • Coach and prepare firm personnel for successful rollout of the DAS platform
  • Diagnose, research and analyze user issues within the DAS platform
  • Develop, track and report on implementation progress to the DAS Project Group Leadership
  • Prioritize and escalate implementation issues when needed and keeping users abreast of issue resolution
  • Identify gaps in software functionality as well as work with DAS Project Group Leadership and software vendors to resolve
  • Develop and maintain implementation documentation of best practices


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting or Accounting Information Systems from an accredited college/university
  • Active CPA License, preferred
  • 10+ years prior experience in public accounting
  • Experience using popular audit workpaper suites in conducting attest engagements
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience using project tracking software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong work ethic
  • Creative and thoughtful problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed to meet project deadlines
