Drainage Engineer / Project Engineer - PE Position Type: Direct hire Position Location: Can sit in Austin, TX, Round Rock, TX or Dallas, TX Position Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 (Depending on Experience) + Bonus Responsibilities: * We are looking for a Civil Engineer with Drainage experience to join and support highway and bridge projects. * Coordinate the preparation of drainage drawings, specifications, and cost estimates * Overseeing the development of project-specific drainage/hydraulic reports and technical documentation. * Perform cross-drainage hydraulic analysis and design. * Conduct drainage analysis and design according to project requirements and standards set by public transportation agencies, including TxDOT. * Utilize software such as MicroStation, Inroads, and Revit for project tasks. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar degree focus; Higher Education is a plus * Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas is needed; May consider someone with an EIT but able to obtain a PE within 1 year of higher date. * 5+ years of experience in transportation-related projects, with a focus on drainage design, hydrological, and hydraulic analysis. * Experience using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (steady, unsteady flow, and two-dimensional), ORD DU, and/or other drainage analysis software * Preferred CFM certification * Floodplain mapping experience is a plus * Excellent written and verbal skills * Experience in MicroStation, Inroads, and Revit is highly preferred. * Must have Texas Drainage experience Benefits: * Full Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) * 401K + Matching * PTO * Bonus * Relocation Assistance (Applicable if needed) After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
