Drafting Engineer

• Experience: 2 to 4 Years. (Don’t share 4+ years profiles)
• Tool: NX
• Key Skills: CAD, Drafting, GD&T, (Semiconductor domain-preferred)
• Location: Bangalore
• Notice Period: 0-15 days max, looking for immediate joiners only (mid of April)
• Very strong in Drafting in NX Tool..

• Strong in GD&T, NX, mechanising components, Drafting. Can look for min 1yr of strong NX Drafting

Note: Tool Test will be face to face at Bangalore/ Coimbatore location.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Diploma in Mechanical/Tool and Die Making/Production/Industrial Engineering with 4 to 6 Years or BE in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering with 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience in drafting
• Diploma from reputed institutes like GTTC (Govt Tool Room & Training Center) / NTTF (Nettur Technical Training Foundation) / CTTD (Central Institute of Tool Design) is preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Creating / Updating CAD drawings for sheet metal, machined parts, complex assemblies, gas line weldments etc
• Documenting and releasing engineering drawings & bills of materials using Engineering Change Management
• Working on resolution of documentation quality issues / Supplier Build issues
• Selects OEM parts per design requirements with guidance from Mechanical Engineers and adheres to established processes/BKMs/Standards

Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:

• Experience in reading, understanding, and creating/reviewing Manufacturing Drawings & Specifications using Unigraphics-NX
• Experience in creating and releasing drawing package for sheet metal, machined components, tube assemblies using Unigraphics-NX
• Good knowledge on welding symbols, GD&T symbols, Surface finish & ASME drafting standards
• Experience in Executing Large assembly based on design intent in Unigraphics-NX
• Experience in running interference analysis

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to various fabrication methods (Sheetmetal & Machining)
• Experience in working with Teamcenter and PLM (SAP or any other similar software)
• Knowledge and exposure to ANSI, ASME, SAE, ISO, SEMI standards applicable to semiconductor Industry
