Inova Blood Donor Services, located in Sterling, is looking for a dedicated Account Manager to join the team in supporting the Washington DC area. This role will be Full-time Day Shift: Days and Hours will vary .

Donor Operations Supervisor Job Responsibilities
Oversees and assists team members in assigned functional area, which may include but not limited to, ensuring team is meeting key-deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, managing and tracking performance, and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to senior leaders as needed.
Establishes, reviews, and revises performance standards for assigned staff, interacting appropriately to set goals; Communicates expectations and provides feedback; In conjunction with the leader, completes performance evaluations, employee relations, and needed disciplinary activities.
Provides assistance with personnel management for staff to include timecard maintenance, scheduling, staffing, PTO requests, compliance, and other administrative matters.
Facilitates strategies to enhance employee satisfaction. Provides information regarding professional growth and development opportunities.
Serves as a primary point of contact for staff in the department. May instruct, train, and oversee the work of other employees with leader oversight.
Performs administrative responsibilities necessary to comply with Inova Health System, Blood Donor Services, FDA, AABB and CAP policies, procedures, standards, and regulations.
Collaborates on performance reviews and team member counseling, coaching. Monitors collection staff to ensure successful collections and operations on blood drives and fixed sites through weekly visits.
Other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements
Work Schedule: Day Shift: Days and Hours will vary
Education: Associate's degree
Years of Experience: 3 years of office experience required.
4 years of experience working at a Blood Donor Center preferred
