Description
The Document Production Specialist is responsible for reviewing and editing health insurance client and member-facing documents including, benefit review and system input, formatting, proofreading, and identifying corrections needed during development and production. Production includes the release of the final documents to the print vendor for hard copies and also release to the web vendor to enable member access. This position will ensure documents are compliant with current business, state, and federal requirements. Specialist is expected to resolve production issues and is required to assure thorough and effective communication on production statuses and issues. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Uses highly complex materials and tools to create business and member contracts and documents utilizing templates. o Examples include Master Group Contracts, Certificates of Coverage, Summary of Benefits - Proof contracts and documents to ensure they are compliant with business and regulatory requirements. - Releases final documents to business partners and to go to vendors for claims configuration, - Regular documentation and reporting of production status up to leadership - Analyze information to ensure benefits are accurately reflected in the benefit database and member contracts, notices, and documents. - Creates contract templates in vendor systems - Write and update job aids. - Update SOPs for leadership review. - Contribute to process improvements, workflows, and document enhancements - Expected to work through issues to resolution independently, or with their Lead as needed

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
