Summary

Job title Documentation Control Reports to Director of Credit Classification Non-Exempt Schedule Monday Friday, 8 AM 5 PM / 40 hours a week Summary/Objective The Documentation Control position collects, maintains and distributes all documents necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes that insure conformance to customer requirements; develops and maintains a comprehensive filing system and computer database for all documents to be retained in the document control center; manages the operation of the document control center to ensure that all users have the latest revision of appropriate documentation in a timely manner. Essential Functions Collect and maintain files of the latest revision level documentation necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes Timely distribution of latest revision level documentation to all appropriate users and ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution Maintain a computer database of all filed documentation that ensures fast retrieval of documents Perform clerical typing duties to generate documents as necessary Competencies Organization Skills Project Management Thoroughness Technical Capacity Supervisory Responsibility The Documentation Control position has no supervisory responsibilities. Working conditions Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. The employee must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED 3-5 years of related experience
