Title: Divisional HR Manager

Location: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid)

Salary: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Directs human resources strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures; implementing recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, counseling, disciplinary, and communication programs; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; reviewing compensation strategies.
  • Directs human resources organizational strategies by contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction, establishing human resources objectives in line with organization goals.
  • Directs human resources operational strategies by analyzing trends; preparing critical measurements; implementing production, productivity, quality, customer-service, safety, security, and health strategies; leading system improvements.
  • Directs human resources financial strategies by anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Completes human resources special projects by identifying and researching human resources issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction.
  • Guides management in the development and engagement of employees; develops engagement programs and surveys; creates learning plans and career pathing for individuals.
  • Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions, analyzing information and applications.
  • Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating human resources policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Understands and complies with out of country legal requirements by learning and understanding legal requirements and legislation.
  • Protects organization value by keeping information confidential, cautioning others regarding potential breaches.
  • Improves human resources management job knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to human resources and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four-year degree required in Business, Human Resources, Accounting or other related discipline.
  • 9+ years of experience of increasing levels of responsibility required. Labor relations management required. Experience in leading and working with multiple locations is preferred.
  • A minimum 9 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Labor relations management/exposure is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of all Human Resources areas including employment law and labor laws.
  • Experience creating collaborative, positive and effective employee relations.
  • Proven ability to operate self-sufficiently managing high-level HR strategy while also performing day-to-day tactical HR tasks.
  • Ability to identify and resolve organizational and individual problems with innovative approaches.
  • Deep experience coaching leaders and effectively provide expertise on HR related matters at all levels of the business.
  • Knowledge of Kronos timekeeping or similar systems, involvement in a systems launch or upgrade a plus.
  • Ability to communicate succinctly and compellingly with all levels of the organization, both orally and in writing.
  • In-depth knowledge of a wide variety of HR techniques and best practices gained through experience and education. Demonstrated success in change management, leading cultural and organizational change.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%. Travel may periodically be heavier at times. Locations assigned will determine the amount of travel that is needed.
  • Licenses/Certificates: PHR/SPHR SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Technology/Equipment: MS Office Suite, HRIS Systems.
