Division Manager – Industrial Construction

📍 Location: around Buffalo, NY | 💼 Full-Time, Permanent

💰 Salary: $160,000 – $190,000 + Benefits

Are you a strategic leader with deep roots in industrial construction? We're seeking a senior-level Division Manager to oversee a high-performing operations unit with revenues exceeding $25M and a workforce of 100+. This is a hands-on leadership role at the center of large-scale electrical, mechanical, and civil projects — delivering results in complex, multi-trade environments.

As Division Manager, you’ll drive performance, maintain compliance, manage high-impact client relationships, and lead a team through all aspects of construction management — from estimating and contracting to delivery and continuous improvement. You’ll also work closely with executive leadership to set strategy and scale operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and mentor operational teams, ensuring safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness across all projects
• Develop and execute divisional goals aligned with organizational strategy and financial targets
• Oversee job costing, forecasting, and budgeting for complex industrial projects ($10M+)
• Maintain strong union, client, vendor, and community relationships
• Ensure full regulatory compliance while fostering a positive safety culture

What You’ll Bring

• 15+ years of relevant construction experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role
• Proven success managing industrial construction projects across electrical, mechanical, and/or civil trades
• Experience supervising teams, developing talent, and leading performance management
• Strong financial acumen, with proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and construction software
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills
