DISTRIBUTION WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Reports to: General Manager

As a Distribution Warehouse Manager ensure the company’s objectives are met in the areas of warehousing and merchandise handling so that the results are complete customer satisfaction, cost-effective operation, and security of company assets.

Job Duties:

  • Achieve objectives of warehousing the company’s inventory, equipment, supplies and parts necessary to support the store operations.
  • Set and supervise the achievement of objectives in all positions of warehousing.
  • Ensure total customer satisfaction in the condition of all merchandise handled by warehouse personnel.
  • Find innovative methods to improve warehouse operations to achieve greater customer satisfaction and a more cost-effective operation.
  • Accept responsibility for safety and security of all company property and inventory in your area.
  • Undertake and complete other responsibilities as assigned by store management.
  • Must be able to lift, stoop, bend, push or pull up to 100 pounds in manual demonstration of merchandise.
  • Must be able to lift items onto a dolly and maneuver dolly into position.
  • Must have corrected hearing to listen to the needs and advice from management, the needs of customers, and the environment to be aware of surroundings.
  • Must have corrected vision to be aware of surroundings and locations of items needed, and to be able to perform job duties.
  • Undertake and support any policy, change, system, or work rules the company implements regarding the purpose of this position.
