Job Summary
We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill a flight dispatcher/scheduler position at Blue Skies Above Flight School.
The chosen candidate will facilitate the scheduling and dispatching of aircraft used by Blue Skies Above staff, renters, and students.
Operational hours extend from 07:00-19:00 Monday-Friday; with candidates having the availability to work partial days on Saturdays.
Shifts will be divided into Morning/Evening (06:45-13:00, 13:00-19:00).
Essential Functions
Works closely with instructors and students to optimize the scheduling of training flights.
Dispatches training flights in accordance with the published daily schedule in coordination with flight instructors and the operations supervisor.
Assigns resources necessary to support flight training lessons.
Ensures accurate aircraft status is displayed in the computer-based scheduling system.
Assists with student records management and other record-keeping and data collection tasks.
Must maintain clear communication with staff and students.
Assists in filling student orders for training kits.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive and highly variable work environment with a customer service focus.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Flight Circle and Microsoft Office is strongly desired.
Knowledge of General Aviation Operations or Flight Experience is strongly preferred.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
