Salary Range: Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $115,440.00 - $138,530.00 / Year depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:

The Disaster Program Manager/Business Continuity Planner will coordinate emergency management activities within the hospital organizational structure and implement all National Bioterrorism Hospital Preparedness Program (NBHPP) grant requirements in the facility. This includes the organization, training, and implementation of a decontamination team that provides coverage 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Activities must be coordinated with assigned Disaster Resource Center (DRC), umbrella hospitals and the Los Angeles County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Agency in accordance with the LA County Regional Response Plan. Develops, maintains, and implements business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions. This position requires flexibility of hours.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Successful completion of FEMA courses: 100, 200, 300, 400, 700 and 800.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

Minimum five or more years' experience with a focus on hospital emergency, trauma, disaster recovery, business continuity, and/or military background.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

Required:

Current Terrorism Liaison Officer (TLO) Certification issued by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider (ACLS) issued by American Heart Association

SKILLS:

Maintains competency and core skills through continuing education and training in nursing and emergency management to ensure Hospital is current with industry standards and best practices.
